The Iconic Building

The Children's Public Library building is located in the vicinity of the beautiful city of Qurum, which is close to the Qurum Nature Reserve with its twisted trees, and a wonderful view as far as the eye can see. The library gives us a panoramic view through the glass facade of the building and the natural light flowing through it and create for the visitor and reader an ideal library experience.

The library building, which occupies an area of ​​9,000 square meters, was designed by the architect James Keeler, who gave his design a charming dimension to the library and its visitors with the various purposes of their visits.

Light flows from different outlets that surround the library to prepare the reader and knowledge bringer to a unique experience and a feeling of the spatial experience experienced by its visitor.

The Children's Public Library can accommodate 700 visitors at a time, spread over its five floors. They are embraced by bookshelves designed in the form of slides, indicating the smooth movement of knowledge coming from the books placed on them. It is furnished with modern furniture that suits all target age groups.
